SYNOPSIS
Synopsis
When nothing is left but memories, surrounded by loneliness in an old people’s home, an elderly woman decides to go on weaving her fate.
Program Note
In a quiet and lonely room in a sanitarium, an elderly woman knits. In the sanitarium where time seems to have stopped, the only clue that confirms the passing of the time is the finished knits. The film cleverly reproduces the physical changes in an elderly woman through the texture of clay animation, and states that the body is the traces of time that passed by her. Eventually, this woman’s body becomes the material with which she will knit her last work. (KIM Yusung)
