Seung-hee, Eun-jeong and Song-ha are independent girls who have lived by themselves since quit school and left home. For one year, what have happened to these girls care about success or making life full but only the romantic relationship and lookism. How would the girls turn to 20, saying good bye their teens?
Three independent girls, living on their own since they left home as middle school students: Seung-hee, Eunjeong, and Song-ha. They each have their own stories about leaving home. How do they go on about their daily lives? They live on without purpose or dreams of success, sometimes feeling anxious, sometimes dreaming about absurd things, and sometimes forming their own opinions about issues the society. Without direct intervention or narration, the director calmly captures the daily lives of these girls who live for the sake of love and looks. Living outside of an established institution, as these girls enter their 20s from teens, means living a life full of anxiety, where everything is unprecedented. But their courageous move suggests that their situation is also a life full of numerous possibilities. Wandering Stars is a 2-year-long daily journal of sensitive and delicate, but strong and impudent girls at the crossroads of anxiety and hope. (HONG So-in)

Majoring in Women¡¯s Studies, LEE worked as a feminist culture and arts organizer, commentator and editor until she entered KAFA at the age of 45 and started her career as a director. She received the NETPAC award at the 2009 Berlin International Film Festival with her first feature-length film The Day After and the Ockrang Award at the 14th Seoul International Women¡¯s Film Festival with her feature documentary Wandering Stars. In 2014 she joined the production of omnibus feature What to Say with other female directors. She employs various styles of feminist filmmaking within her documentaries and feature films. She recently completed the feature-length documentary A Corner Shop.
