Synopsis
 Nima is a female laborer from Mongolia and an illegal alien who does all kinds of odd jobs in the motel. One day, her first Korean colleague Jung-eun, a battered wife comes. The women from a disadvantageous social class rely on each other as they reach out to others in similar situations that they come across in the motel.

 Director BOO Ji-young expressed intimate affection toward the sexual minority with her debut film Sisters on the Road, she continues her support for social minority in her new film Nima, one of the human rights project movies of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea. Nima is an illegal immigrant worker from Mongol and works chores at a motel in Seoul. Her Korean friend Jung-eun, who suffers because of her violent husband, keeps a distance to her at first. But soon they become friends as they share their own experiences as social minors. (KWON Eun-sun)
