Hair is something you easily forget, but it becomes something you never forget once it¡¯s lost. What if you lose your hair all of a sudden? Hairis an honest portrait of a woman who starts to lose her hair just when she realizes she found ¡®a man of her life.¡¯ She constantly confronts unexpected situations but stays courageous enough to reveal all her inner thoughts and anxiety frankly, which touches our heart deeply. (The Importance of) Hair is Christina HÖGLUND¡¯s second film. She works as a journalist for radio, TV and magazines, mainly focusing on film issues. Her debut film The Zhang Empresses (2005) was awarded as Best documentary for youth in Swedish Television 2005. From then on she was invited to many international film festivals.
