Sally BOTHROYD
A history textbook timeline focuses too much on man’s place in history, and a woman decides to take chronology into her own hands.
This is a parody of 1950‘s style educational animation. The narrator bluffs that only men made great discoveries and women appeared in history only when they were needed to cook with the discovery of fire. A woman gets annoyed at his pompous attitude and starts to make her own charts. This film challenges the way in which the history is only written from men‘s perspective using satire and slapstick. The comparison between a man of a big mouth and a woman in action along with piercing humor is highly enjoyable. (CHO Hye-young)
