Synopsis
A man and a woman meet at a bench in the woods. The man always runs while the woman keeps walking all the time. The man is excited to find a road he doesn¡¯t have to run and follows the woman. As they go deeper, the man presses the woman to find the right track and eventually they end up trying a new road no one has ever been.
Program Note
A man who is crazy about running and a woman who only walks encounter each other on the bench in the middle of the forest. He is fascinated by the fact that he found a road that does require running and starts to follow the woman into the forest. He gets frustrate by the sense of being lost and urges her for the direction; they eventually try out a new path that they have never attempted before. The film shows a different way of making drama by only using metaphor instead of a grand story lines or genre. Comparing a road to a life as a metaphor may seem cliché but high degree of special effects, and detailed description blows away the cliché with a non-dichotomous way of thinking. (CHO Hye-young)
