Program Note
With the advancement in visual technology, a little happening could be a spectacle of life in today¡¯s society. College student Chung-soo visits his friend¡¯s school and happens to see an argument between Jae-hoon and Sun-young, college sweethearts. As the argument grows bigger, more people gather to see it. One student even starts to take a video simultaneously transmitting it with her cell-phone, and the audience watch the people who watch the argument. This film is witty and brilliant in using the cinematic frame to satirize the current visual culture. (CHO Hye-young)
