 Chicken Stew is an interesting animated musical with dialogues on a Portuguese folk song. With the sorrowful guitar sound as a backgound through the film, the director seems to tell us that the Portuguese tend to make small things into big ones and that it is just the way people live in this world. You will spontaneously have smiles on your face by the time you see the ending credit, which is just like a song in a musical, and the director\'s speech, which says, “Wishing to my guardian deity that people would like this film as they like wines, I bid farewell.” (KWON Eun-sun)
