Synopsis
 Gregor and Agathe are living happily together in their own little world. Gregor perceives the world through a stuffed raven and an old radio. He has even begun to make food. The two of them are having a good time reading commercial ads in newspapers, and are celebrating their wedding anniversary in June even though it is in September. Maybe Gregor is right when he says that there is a time for everything?
 
 Program Note
 Agathe and Gregor live in the peaceful countryside of northern Norway. They are happy in their own world with little chores to do and a few community fliers to read; but their grown-up daughters think that world is a problematic place. Conflicts arise when they try to move their parents into public care facilities for senior citizens, as Agathe and Gregor insist on staying in their own world. In a civilized society where nuclear families are common, the grown-up children tend to avoid their responsibilities for caring for their old parents while they still cannot be free from the feeling of burden. What could be done in this complex chain of relationship for the old parents to live their lives independently? Against the beautiful, natural background of northern Norway, this film poses questions that cannot be easily answered. (Jay SOHN)
