Program Note
Completely unexpectedly, Hee-jin gets laid off from the Supermarket where she¡¯s been working. She tries to go back, but the reality is too harsh and cruel to deal with. Her unanswered love and excolleague¡¯s careless curiosity deeply scar her, but it is only after Hee-jin accepts all these situations that she becomes to be able to cope. This film is impressive in that it stares no-nonsense reality right in the face and deals with the wounds that young people of today¡¯s society get when confronted with such reality. (MO Eun-young)
