SYNOPSIS
The Naked Hitch-hiker starts with a scene where a hitchhiker hurt by the breakdown of her married life gets in a man\'s truck. She falls into an emotional world while the truck is going through a rainstorm and the hitchhiker\'s mind is in itself visualized on the frames. She grew up in Washington D.C., attended art school in Rhode Island, and has lived in Burlington, Vermont for the past thirty five years. After a career of commercial illustrating for the dairy and ski industry, for children\'s books and guide books, She wrote a biography of her mother, in 1995. That project led to her putting together a book of her grandmother\'s art, [Zelda, an Illustrated Life] published by Harry Abrams Inc. in 1996. She is a first-time filmmaker and The Naked Hitch-Hiker has absorbed her for the past seven years.
