Twelve-year-old tomboy Georgie spends most of her time lost in a fantastic sea-world. With her best friend, Lisa, she has a happy time. However, the sudden appearance of a father-figure in this fantasy destroys her happiness and reveals the fragility of this fantasy world that Georgie has constructed in order to block the pain of being sexually abused.
