Stories of women in the western myth who were transformed into animals or plants after being raped and testimonies of Israeli women who were raped in their youth are unfolded in the series of poetic images. In shivering voices, four women who were raped by their uncle, stepfather or by a stranger confess their stories of unforgettably, painful moments, while gazing into the camera recording their stories. Painful memories appear as bodily experiences such as anorexia, paralysis, and constant suicidal impulses, therefore the women are unable to return to their former self as before the rape just as women in the myth could not. Unlike the women in the myth who were forced to be silent, these women break their silence and raise their voices, not for going back to the self of the past but for bringing about the birth of a new self.
