SYNOPSIS
Yeon-soo happens to meet Chang-jo because of a hit-and-run accident and becomes friends with him by helping him search for his mother, who ran away from home. As she becomes exhausted by the people around her, Yeon-soo comes to understand the reason why Chang-jo’s mother left and persuades him to abandon his search. Chang-jo can’t completely give up hope, but he eventually learns how to live as a humanbeing and how to endure life’s troubles. (Billy Choi)

Born in 1979. Kwon Yong-sook studied film direction at the Korean National University of Arts. Since her first short film Pianissimo in 2001, she went on to direct Vivace Again (2003), which screened at Jeonju International Film Festival, and I don’t Know You (2001). More than a Heart Beat was one of the recipients of the 2004 preliminary production support from the Korean Film Council.
