SYNOPSIS

Working Girl is a music video that opens with a scene of female working robots being displayed to customers. The robots are housewives, tutors, flight attendants, secretaries and strippers, all subservient occupations focused on taking care of others. We see these robots perform the same monotonous actions with pale expressionless faces. Stübi¡¯s video serves as a voyeuristic look into the restrictive gender-defined roles of women in a patriarchal society. (Kwon Eun-sun)
