The ‘sharpen up your looks’ program forced on a graduating class in a girls’ commercial high school , and the demands of the prospective superiors on the applicants that have to stand in a straight line before them are clearly another regulating program of ‘woman-making’ that is forced on women by this world of nonstop competition and consumer capitalism.
