SYNOPSIS

Regina is the adventure of a young girl in a small town (reminiscent of the fairytale-like town of Edward Scissorhands) in Iceland, unfolding with the rhythm of a musical.
For 11-year-old Regina, staying home instead of going to summer camp like any other kid is unbearable, but her single mother Margaret cannot afford it. However, Regina is convinced that she could go to summer camp if her mother met someone special and got over her widowhood. And she finds the perfect candidate: Atli, father of her friend Peter, and the innocent owner of the corner convenience store. After launching her secret plan, she discovers in her a unique and special gift: when she sings she can get anyone to do what she wants. Especially when she sings along with Peter. Everything seems to proceed as she planned until a jewellery thief comes into the picture. The thief seems to fulfill a need, and vulnerable people start to fall for him. In the world of this film, there are two kinds of magic: One to fool people, and the other to open people¡¯s minds. (Nam In-young)
