The film opens with a close-up of busy hands doing housework. Soon enough, you find out that they are the hands of a man with an apron. His wife comes home from work and complains to her husband for not having the lunch ready yet. The husband shouts, ‘you think I do nothing here all day?’ He sees another woman and says to her, ‘you’re not seeing me just for sex, are you?’ Yes, the film is called A Woman’s Daydream. Portraying the exchange of gender roles that might be possible in hundreds of years, the film reveals in the ends that all this was just the imagination of an abused housewife. (Jenna Ku)
