SYNOPSIS
77-A explores the psychological process of creating a work of art where the aspirations for innovation, inner conflicts, the fear and the everlasting anguish of creation recurrently appear. The film attempts to reflect the oppressive social reality of the mid 1970s through the self-portrait of an artist.

Han Ok-hiHan Ok-hi
Born in 1948, Han Ok-hi studied Korean Literature at Ewha Womans University and continued her studies in graduate school. As a representative of the experimental film group ‘Kaidu’, she directed about 20 experimental works since 1974, which include Hole, and Rope. In 1981, she studied film at FU Berlin. She currently is a representative of Green Communications and a member of FIPRESCI.
