SYNOPSIS
Magic Sword is a unique mix of horror, eroticism, and action with a flavor of B-movie elements that mixes the subject of vampirism and women¡¯s eroticism displayed in exotic settings and costumes. A man(played by Bang Soo-il) prepares for the state examination at a mountain temple. On his way to the temple, an old woman from a pub lures him into marrying Yeo-hwa(played by Do Kum-bong), a noble lady from China and ex-mistress of an old noble man, living in a mountain mansion alone with a maid. Distracted by the temptation and pleasure, he turns his back on studying. One day, he happens to save a drowning woman, who tells him that Yeo-hwa is a ghost trying to enter heaven, and to do this she has to sleep with him for 100 days. He, then, struggles to break free from Yeo-hwa, who is destroyed by his faithful Buddhist wife.
The vampire woman played by Do Kum-bong is an extremely despicable and evil character, however, her aggressive temptation and physical power contributes to her charismatic and luring quality, leading the audience to identify with her rather than with the good and ¡°moral¡± characters.
