SYNOPSIS

This is one of the six films produced to celebrate the 350th anniversary of Montreal. Some of Canada¡¯s most notable directors such as Patricia Rozema, Michel Brault, and Atom Egoyan took part in the project.
Léa Pool brings to the screen the brief moments of a young woman lying in an ambulance following a car accident. Her vague eyes reflect the ghost-like buildings of the large city, and occasional memories spring from her unconsciousness. Every picture of her life-the sexual harassment of her father, her mother¡¯s coldness, a lonely adolescence, the pain of losing her first love, and homosexuality-has important meanings to her. It can be said that this work touches on almost of all Pool¡¯s recurring themes. (Nam In-young)
