Hye-Kyung is an unwed mother, but she is a woman who tries to live an upright and diligent life of her own. However, her reality as an unwed mother is far from comfortable. Hye-Kyung has no financial base, and she needs employment. She is living in her parents’ house right now, but they are conscious of how their acquaintances look at them. Hye-Kyung cannot stay there long. Likewise, she has to look for a place to live with her daughter Lime. Hye-Kyung is pained by the people’s looks of curiosity when they hear she is an unwed mother, and by her relations with her family which is close, yet full of hurt. But, Hye-Kyung is preparing to stand on her own feet, in their new home at the mother-and-child institution.
