Sidsel has only one friend, Dea, who lives in the same neighborhood. Then, a new girl, Caroline, moves in, and Dea, who has been fed up with the same old ¡®doll-play¡¯ with Sidsel, falls into the new game with Caroline. Seized with the fear of losing Dea, Sidsel has to do something to get her back. Where will the helpless jealousy end? This film delivers girls¡¯ delicate feeling in sensitive and powerful way. Louise N.D. Friedberg graduated in direction from The National Film School of Denmark in 2005. She has worked as a continuity supervisor and assistant director since 1995. Blood Sisters is her debut as a director and the film has already gained fantastic reviews in Denmark and also won the Youth Jury Award for Best National Film at Odense International Film Festival 2006.
