“Together with the slogan “Reimagining F,” the poster begins with an imagining of Flicker (깜박임, 明滅)—the uncertainty of a twinkling star or flickering light—and of the new possibilities found in trembling and Failure.
Two alternating frames of light and darkness reveal the eyes of someone preparing to tell a story and the ears of someone ready to listen. Connecting one frame to the next, they gradually weave a story together. The continuous frames flicker with their seams intentionally left exposed, following the story in all its roughness.” (SHIN Haeok)
Shin Haeok is a graphic designer interested in weaving text, image, and page by crossing them with one another. She pays particular attention to the potentially infinite possibilities of combinations, transformations, and relationships that emerge within them. Since 2014, she has co-run the graphic design studio Shinshin with Shin Donghyuk.
