Thirty years after The Murmuring vividly captured the voices of “comfort women” survivors, the Wednesday Demonstrations face disruptions, the “Statues of Peace” are under threat, and the number of living survivors is dwindling. In this shifting reality, directors Byun Youngjoo and Kangyu Garam, along with scholar KIM Hyun Gyung discuss and explore how the “comfort women” issue can be remembered and recorded beyond firsthand testimony.
