OK Ja-yeon, Actor
For showing great support and affection for SIWFF, actors Kim A-joong (1st, 2nd Festival ambassador), Han Yeri (3rd), Lee Young-jin (4th), Kim Min-jung (5th), Lee El (6th), Moon Ga-young (7th), and Bang Min-ah (8th) were appointed as festival ambassadors. This year, actor Ok Ja-yeon takes over as the 9th festival ambassador. Ok Ja-yeon will actively participate in various activities, including attending press conferences and serving as a judge for Asian Short Section to promote the 25th SIWFF.
Ok Ja-yeon has been actively involved in acting through films including The Snob (2019), Ashfall (2019), Archaeology of Love (2023), and TV dramas including The Uncanny Counter (2021), Mine (2021), Big Mouth (2022), Under the Queen's Umbrella (2022), Queenmaker (2023), and plays including Sauntering (2020) and Hiding White Flowers (2022). In particular, she built a relationship with the SIWFF as a cast of the film Archaeology of Love, which was screened at the Discovery section of the 24th SIWFF. She won the Best Actor at the 23rd JEONJU IFF with the same film.
