The poster of the 24th Seoul International Women's Film Festival directly embodies the meaning of a phrase ‘Let us meet at ( )’. Jung Hae-ri who designed the poster explains that “The ( ) in the slogan can be either a physical location or a conceptual word. I wanted to express the sincerity of SIWFF in supporting of the solidarity of female filmmakers, as well as the direction of the festival of this year. Also I wanted to show the powerful female energy that never tires out at any moment in the graphical way.”
The official poster uses color orange along with the festival color purple, to convey the meaning that the Seoul International Women's Film Festival offers a wide spectrum of films that audiences can enjoy. You can put anything inside the ( ) such as people's faces, their facial expressions, and voices to express the sense of liveliness. Also, by having various intervals between the ( ), you can feel that 'it can contain anything’, which shows the unbiased sense and energy of female filmmakers toward cinema.
