Australian Women's Filmmaking: HerStories and Policies

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of South Korea-Australia diplomatic relations, the special section Australian Women's Filmmaking with a debating forum looks into the history of female filmmaking and the policies in gender equality in the 23rd SIWFF. The historical developments in Australian female filmmaking have encompassed a variety of experiments in genres and formats from commercials to radical politics in subject providing female filmmakers in South Korea with the critical points of reference through Australian gender equality policies in the film industry.
