SYNOPSIS
The life of a girl in high school begins to mirror the lead character in the morning TV drama she’s obsessed with. In post-WWII Japan, a young girl Asako tells her conservative parents she wants to go to Osaka to fulfill her dream of becoming an actress. We realize it’s a morning TV drama playing out, watched by high school student Asako. With fiction and reality seemingly influencing each other as they converge, how will the story end for both Asakos?

Born in 2001 in Tokyo, Japan. Joined a film club at Waseda University and began making films in 2020. The following year, she was selected for the open call frame of the omnibus “DIVOC-12,” in which Michito Fujii and other directors participated. Her latest work “Tapioca Gaku Nyumon” was selected for the 34th Tokyo Student Film Festival.
