Synopsis

Jemini is a boy well-versed in smartphones and social media. He was once caught making a deepfake video using a classmate's photo, but the incident was settled. One day, a street interview he participates in by chance goes viral on YouTube under the nickname ¡°Anti-Communist Jemini,¡± surpassing 100,000 views. Edited to make it appear as though he said things he never did, the video turns Jemini into a ¡°young awakened right-winger.¡± Objectified without his consent, Jemini is dragged into the conflicts of adults, where he is gradually broken apart, reshaped, and dismantled...

Director's Statement

An age when AI and deepfakes are part of everyday life. In the not-so-distant future, perpetrators and victims alike—those like Jemini—will grow into adults just as they are and go on to make up this society, mistakenly believing it was nothing, since it was only a prank and nothing happened. Before it is too late, we must question, discuss, and reach agreement—about the human responsibility hidden behind technology, and about the choices of the humans who hold that technology.
