Having lived through a time of martial law and impeachment, we newly witnessed how the language and gestures of the streets were visualized and shared, both as designers and as citizens. Rejecting the conventional expectation of "how a designer should design," the Feminist Designer Social Club (FDSC) stood in the public square as one of the 13 organizations forming the Feminist-Queer-for Korean Democracy (FQKD). As the memories of martial law and impeachment gradually fade, this film calmly seeks to document the language and images born in the square, alongside the collective practice of the designers and activists who made them possible. Through this film, I contemplate the new daily lives we are now living and throw out countless possibilities to fill the hyphens (-) yet to come.
