Synopsis
Músicas is a short documentary that follows Leticia Gallardo, the visionary director of Viento Florido, an all-women Indigenous band hailing from the mountainous region of Tlahuitoltepec. The film captures the profound connection between the women, their music, and the landscapes that inspire them.

Lila AVILÉSLila Avilés is a director, writer and producer from Mexico City. She studied performing arts and art direction, as well as film script. Her first film, La camarista(2018) was released at the Toronto IFF 2018. Her most recent film Tótem (2023), won best at the Berlinale 2023 and at the Morelia IFF in the same year.
