Synopsis
Back in Tunisia for her uncle's funeral, Lilia reunites with a family that knows nothing about her life in Paris, especially her love life. Determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the sudden death of her uncle, Lilia finds herself confronted with family secrets in a house where three generations of women cohabit between silences and traditions.

Leyla BOUZIDLeyla Bouzid was born and grew up in Tunis. She made her first feature film, As I Open My Eyes (2015) in Tunisia, which won a prize at the Venice IFF and over forty intl. Prizes. Her second feature film, A Tale Of Love And Desire (2021) was selected for the closing night of the Semaine de la Critique at The Cannes Film Festival in 2021. In A Whisper, her third feature film, is being presented in the Official Competition at the Berlinale, 2026.
