Sunhee, who runs a modest animal clinic, is fostering a puppy whose owner never returned. Out of the blue, her niece she had raised as her own shows up after ten years, only to announce that she is leaving for New Zealand the very next day.
This film was inspired by my aunt, who raised me during my childhood. I hope this film invites you to revisit the memories of those who once cherished you deeply.
Born in 1997, Wi Eun-kyoung majored in acting in Seoul Institute of the Arts. She worked as a screenwriter and production staff member for the short film, When the Waves Pass Through. (2025) Her short film, My Aunt, marks her directorial debut, which she wrote and starred in.
Born in 1998, Son Gwang-min majored in acting in Dongguk University. He won second prize at the 2021 Seoul Independent Film Festival's rising actor discovery program. He has starred in the film Hijack (2024) and the Netflix series All of Us Are Dead: Season 2 (2026). His 2025 short film, Poem of Songju, was invited to the Jeonju IFF. Since 2018, he has been consistently directing short films, and his 2024 work, When the Waves Pass Through, has garnered attention at various film festivals.
