Synopsis

Sa-rang, a woman who has survived life clinging to a romantic poem about love and death, becomes intrigued by Cheol-su, a man who visits the pharmacy where she works as a pharmacy assistant. When she learns that he is in love with her cousin Jong-hui, the pharmacist, her fantasies about love begin to grow. She becomes completely captivated by the idea that Cheol-su is a desperate patient suffering from hopeless love.

Director's Statement

I hope this film can be seen as a cinematic attempt to portray love as a kind of illness—and to dissect it through the lens of its clinical symptoms.
