Sally POTTER
Sally Potter's bold adaptation of Virginia Woolf's classic novel, Orlando, was nominated for two Academy Awards and brought her work to a wider audience. It was followed by The Tango Lesson (1997), The Man Who Cried (2000), Yes (2004), Rage (2009), and Ginger & Rosa (2012). She has also directed numerous short films, a television series, operas, and other live works. Full retrospectives of her career have been held at BFI Southbank in London, MoMA in New York, and the Cinematheque in Madrid. Her book Naked Cinema was published in 2014.
