Synopsis
Sawada graduated from an art university but cannot rely on it to make a living and is working as an assistant to a famous contemporary artist. He lost his independent will and became accustomed to simply doing what he was told. One day, Sawada had an accident on the way to work and lost his job because of an arm injury. When he returned to the room, there was an ant on the floor. After drawing a circle as if guided by an ant, Sawada's daily life begins to be eroded by the circle.

OGIGAMI NaokoOgigami Naoko (b. 1972, Chiba, Japan) began studying film at the University of Southern California in 1994. She later worked on commercials and directed her first short films. Her feature debut came with Yoshino's Barber Shop (2003). Since then, her works have been screened at numerous international film festivals. Her films Glasses (2007) and Close-Knit (2017) received awards at the Berlinale. In 2024, she served as a member of the Nippon Visions Jury and presented her film Ripples (2023).
