Synopsis
The "First International Women's Film Seminar" in 1973, organized by Claudia von Alemann and Helke Sander in Berlin, was one of the earliest feminist film festivals. Vibeke L©ªkkeberg, a 28-year-old Norwegian filmmaker, had come to present her film Abort (1972) and document the event. Nearly fifty years later, she found lost footage and made a film like a journey through time. The festival was full of hope, solidarity, and women's fight against male dominance. Today, it reminds us of unfinished battles.
