SYNOPSIS
Cherry trees planted where the waves of history have passed bear abundant fruit. Liza, Tamara, Raphael, Sonia, Vladimir, Lera, Konstantin. We will never forget the names of the people we met on this journey, nor the taste of the bittersweet cherry fruit.

KWON AramShe studied philosophy at the undergraduate level and documentary filmmaking at the graduate level. She began her work by co-directing To become 2 in 2013. Her short films Queer Room and 463 Poem of the Lost/, directed in 2018, were screened at various film festivals. In 2023, her film Home Ground, which weaves together memories of queer spaces centered around South Korea’s first lesbian bar, won the Best New Director Award and the Audience Award at the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.
