Synopsis
All it takes is a couple of minutes at a gas station to turn your life upside down. After a young man's fiancée vanishes, he sets out to solve her mysterious disappearance despite not having a single clue to go on. Will he find the young woman, or will his misery engulf him? The movie achieves a workable blend of intimate storytelling and thriller.

BYUN YoungjooIn 1995, Byun Youngjoo made her directorial debut with the first theatrical documentary in Korea, The Murmuring. She went on to complete a documentary trilogy on victims of Japanese military sexual slavery. Her narrative feature debut came with Ardor (2002), followed by Helpless in 2012, which earned her the Best Director Award at the 2012 Baeksang Arts Awards. Her upcoming work is the television series The Mantis: Original Sin (2025).
