I-Teens is a short film competition section for teenage Korean female filmmakers. The I-Teens Grand Award and the I-Teens Award are awarded. Compared to previous years, approximately twice as many films applied to this section, and all are films full of emotion, sympathy, and the irrepressible energy of youth. There were many films about films and the aspiration of film as a target, as well as the sincerity of narratives with an autobiographical sense, all of which added great depth.
Among them, the four narrative films in the final selection considered filmmaking, including narrative, filming, editing, and sound, while the two documentaries led dynamically with honest aspirations to reach their targets. I would like you, with a contemporary sense, to witness the film worlds of teenage directors as it continues to expand and become more colorful each year. [Programmer KIM Hyunmin]
