SYNOPSIS


Everybody has tough times during his or her lifetime. Daisy, a 70-year-old lady, has received a serious from her doctor today, to her the memories of the old days¡¯are still alive and beautiful. But today is a special day for her, not just because she is afraid of death. How is Emily, who begins to show the symptoms of Alzheimer disease, going to live without Daisy? What is going to happen to their 40-year relationship of love and devotion? It could be somebody else¡¯s story, but for Daisy and Emily, today is a special day to remember. What can they do? This soul-searching short story hails from Canada. (BYUN Jai-ran)

    She is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre¡¯s Directors¡¯Lab. Her award-winning shorts Dance With Me (1997) and Interviews with My Next Girlfriend (2001) have screened at hundreds of international festivals and been licensed for home video distribution throughout North America, UK and France. Show Me (2003), Nicolaou¡¯s first feature film, screened at more than 30 festivals and was released theatrically and on DVD in Canada and USA.
