SYNOPSIS

Sang-sil lives in a basement room, suffering from the heartache of separation. One day, a little girl
from the neighborhood knocks on her window, saying her pet dog Mr. Grin has run away from home. Sang-sil is annoyed by the girl at first, but she begins to sympathize with the young girl who has lost her love. Sang-sil comes across Mr. Grin in an alley, and she chases after the dog in an effort to reunite the girl with her soul mate. Is Mr. Grin really the little girl¡¯s soul mate or Sang-sil¡¯s soul mate? This film is outstanding in its cinematic wit as it takes the story of a girl who has lost her dog and interweaves it with the story of a woman who has lost her love, to create laughter and talk of hope. (Jay SOHN)
