SYNOPSIS

Ah-Tsao, a very hard-working woman from Vietnam, got married with a Taiwanese guy 4 years ago and has two children. Her goal is to open her own restaurant within 2~3 years and she does anything to be able to make money from 6 in the morning to midnight. But the discrimination in Taiwanese society toward foreign immigrants makes the always cheerful and smiling Ah-Tsao shed tears. "Ain't I a human being hard-working just like you?" "Why don't you treat me equally?" Ah-Tsao asks. Today Ah-Tsao unchangingly moves forward and rides her bicycle, for her children's future, her own independent life, and an unprejudiced society. (Billy Choi)
