SYNOPSIS

Sun-hwa has to leave Garibong-dong when her company moves to another location. The move distresses her, and she becomes especially upset when her small, worn but cherished chest of drawers breaks in the process. After leaving a note and wiping the floor for the next tenant, Sun-hwa departs Garibong-dong with a combination of joy and sorrow and says goodbye to her pregnant friend. (Kim Hea-seung)

    Born 1974 in Seoul. Kim Sun-min graduated from the Film Department at Seoul Institute of the Arts, and from Korean Academy of Film Arts. She has shown her constant interests in minorities and people on the margin, and those interests were shaped into short films, and exhibition films. Her directorial works include One Korea (2001), Looking Back (2001), Dream of Snail (2003), After Love (2004), Garivegas (2005), Looking for the Statue of Export (2015), etc. While in preproduction for a film on laborers in Garibong-dong area, she passed away from cancer on April 18, 2017
