SYNOPSIS

This animated film, which recalls the past through images that seem to transfer the melodies and lyrics onto the screen, shifts its gaze away from the express train, which has become the symbol of rapid growth and the metropolis-oriented culture that praises such growth. Instead, we focus on the slow train, which honors the virtues of taking things slow and easy. The slow train in the film still runs in rural areas of Japan. (Kim Joon-yang)
