SYNOPSIS

A woman and a man get married on impulse: the bride has retired in pursuit of a peaceful and liberal life in the countryside, and the bridegroom makes a living as a natural dyer. They go on a honeymoon accompanied by a friend of the bride. At first they cannot be happier, however, as days go by, conflicts rise from trivial matters. Constant fighting and reconciliation exhaust them. The film persistently raises long-standing questions on the friction between marriage and liberty. (Kim Hea-seung)
