SYNOPSIS

VARDA visits her uncle Yanco VARDA, who lives on a boat in San Francisco. Inspired by his free spirit and lifestyle as an artist, she makes a documentary dedicated to him based on interviews that take place across 3 days. The film reveals VARDA¡¯s unique style, as her work always starts from her affection and curiosity about a subject. Playful, artistic apparatus in the film helps to illustrate the artist¡¯s critical but innocent world of imagination as well as the spirit of San Francisco. [LEE Nara]
