Pitch&Catch celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. It is a pitching program that supports talented female filmmakers and the development of their feature projects and documentary productions. For a decade, it has nurtured an array of female-led productions and boasts several success stories, contributing to pushing the boundaries of female roles in front of and behind the camera in film production as well as discovering new projects.
The special screening aims to look back on the achievements of the past ten years. Last year, SIWFF shed light on the winners of the Documentary Ock Rang Award. This year¡¯s program focuses on the feature films supported through the Pitch&Catch. The program includes a variety of films and genres such as Two Weddings and a Funeral and A Haunting Hitchhike. Another film selected at Pitch&Catch, House of Hummingbird, is screening in the New Currents section.
